How to Verify Blogspot / Blogger Web SIte in Bing WebMaster

Verification of Blog spot page in Google Webmast is super smooth as Blog spot is own by Google however if you want to add it to Bing Web Master its little tricky.

In Wordpress verification of website is quite easy as its provides you search engine specific tag to add meta tags. You can easily verify your site by adding tags from webmaster tool in verification tag as shown below.


However in Blogger its not that straight forward. However its super simple to do so. Follow below simple steps to get it done easily on UI itself. No additional website or tool required.

1. Login to your Bing WebMaster

2. Add your blogger / blogspot web site link

 

Add a Site

 

 Click on Add

3. Generate the meta tag from webmaster tool by adding your blogspot / blogger website

Example used: abc.xyz, 

The successful Site Addition page shows our Blogger site registered with Bing WebMaster

 

Copy HTML Meta Tag 

4. Go to Blogger Settings

 

5. Go to Section Meta tags

 

Enable -> Click on Search description -> Paste the Meta tag copied from Bing WebMaster.

Save.

6. Go to Bing WebMaster and Click on Verify

 

7 Site Verified
